Byron Capital has announced it has licensed Financial Simplicity, a leading provider of portfolio management and control technology, to enhance its investment operations and deliver scalable, personalised portfolio solutions to its clients.
The new implementation, which includes API-level integration with the Netwealth platform, enables Byron Capital to manage around 2,000 portfolios with greater efficiency, compliance, and control.
As part of the initiative, Byron Capital is implementing a range of firm-authored model portfolios, allowing for consistent investment strategy execution across the client base. At the same time, the Financial Simplicity platform empowers Byron Capital advisers to tailor portfolios to individual client needs, delivering on the promise of personalisation – while maintaining centralised oversight and control.
“This marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to the best client outcomes.” said Ben Banting, Portfolio Manager at Byron Capital. “We have always been focused on a democratised outcome, ensuring all clients receive the same treatment as we implement our investment process. SMAs were never the right solution to us. Financial Simplicity allows us to strike the right balance between efficiency of operating our MDA while allowing us to maintain the personalisation we want for our clients.”
The integration with Netwealth ensures seamless data synchronisation, automation of key workflows, and support for both standardised and bespoke investment strategies – enabling advisers to spend more time with clients and less time on administration.
“We’re delighted to support Byron Capital as they move toward a more personalised and scalable investment service,” said Stuart Holdsworth, CEO of Financial Simplicity. “This is a great example of how forward-thinking firms are harnessing technology to deliver client-centric outcomes with full control and confidence.”
Byron Capital’s adoption of Financial Simplicity reflects a growing industry trend of moving away from ‘one-size-fits-all’ investment models toward client-driven, adviser-led personalisation – all within a compliant, systemised operating framework.
